What makes the VKB Foods stores concept extraordinary is that most of the products sold to the public amongst other leading brands, are produced or manufactured by the VKB Group, and VKB Foods is part of that value chain, ensuring that we consistently deliver great quality at a competitive price. Some of the consumer brands within the VKB Group are Grain Field Chickens, Magnifisan and Super-Sure. The Magnifisan product, amongst others under this brand, is Super Maize Meal which is produced by VKB Milling. Our Super-Sure products, including bread, a confectionery range and flour, are produced by VKB Flour Mills. The quality of the Super-Sure range is exceptional, and it competes very well with the quality and average price of similar products on the market.
The very first VKB Foods store was opened in Sasolburg on 21 January 2016 with the idea of creating a competitive and great quality store for our consumers and fulfilling our vision of owning the most critical parts of our value chain. Soon thereafter we open a store in Bethlehem on 26 November 2016. Three years down the line and we already have several VKB Foods stores in the Limpopo region and intend on opening more in the near future.
